Lynda Wilson Artist Statement

​

Living in a small village in North Wales, I like to sketch outdoors, but take plenty of photographs for reference as our weather is unpredictable.

 

I love to work with Watercolours, but also use Acrylics and Inks.

​

I like to paint in a free loose style and enjoy the challenge of capturing the rustic feel of old farm buildings, their surroundings and wild meadows.

​

Over the Years I have exhibited my work in many galleries and venues throughout North Wales and have been fortunate to have exhibited work in France.

​

I have been a member of the ‘Clwydian Art Society’, for many years.

​

I am part of a small group of artists who have taken part in the ‘Helfa Gelf’ Art Trail. We are collectively known as the ‘ Halkyn Mountain Artists’
